Agreed, thats why you alter the gain and frequency with the stock sensor

She'll be back together this weekend with the wideband wired to the ECU and a gauge for my sanity
It's very highly-geared, that compressor. And DON'T turn it the wrong way - they don't like it, apparently.

well that's not a good start! I'm sure all will be fine once its had a good tune.

I'm also interested in what you do with that gauge. I've got one too but i'm not sure i'm going to use it or not. I may have the wide band wired into the ECU but not have a visual gauge..... not sure yet.

haha, it's all good. I don't mind tinkering with it.

the only issue with just inputting to the ECU is what happens if there's an issue i guess. I'm no expert at all but the advantage of the gauge is it highlights if there's a problem (rich or lean). I need that visual indicator given my fragile state of mind

Well worth it.

I had a basemap sent from the states/Kraftwerks and the map fuel pressure was wrong. Giving hideously lean conditions. Without it, I wouldn't have known!

she lives!

I just need to run a cable into the AEM from the AFR gauge/sensor and then set that up (this is all new to me)

I cannot see an issue with the belt, following the instructions from TTS the tensioner is in a different position to where it was but that belt was old and may have been a different length too, tension seems similar by a scientific grab and twist test

I have noticed it does get hot under the hood. maybe I need some more gauges

the alloys are not in great shape and the brakes are dodgy too, these are next steps
