You assume I want to hear

Hardtop now back on, my soft top is ****ed and given the summer is officially over (this morning's walk felt October ish) I decided to act to prevent it getting wetter

The positive news here is my shoulder is now well enough to do it.. i tore a tendon (partial tear) in it in late 2021 which resulted in some calcium build up inside the joint and a rather unpleasant condition called calcific tendonitis

this was treated ok by physio

but then returned with a vengeance as I was lifting stuff to move house in early 2022 and became a new horror called adhesive capsulitis which basically freezes your shoulder joint (aka frozen shoulder).. also with this I would wake at 3-4 am all last summer in pain.. often resulting in very early dog walks with a confused dog

Been slowly building up the flex and strength since last Oct so I am chuffed

Anyway, back to the car.. the rear screen has a load of holes so I need to road trip to Smith's I think.. been saying that for a few years though but now my lad is 11 it feels possible ha

Or a shorter one south for a lot more moolah..

Hmm

I like this angle

Car is now tuned with a decat, by AJ And running really well

Had a few issues with idle, AJ remote connected and made some changes. Car is going well now

MOT due in about 8 weeks so will swap back to hi flow cat and relevant map. Considering one of those canvas garages for winter as I think we will be in this house (single garage) for another 3 years

MOT day for the twisted monkey

I went for a coffee after handing it over. Constantly checking the MOT site. Ordered a classic additions cover for it as I'm using it less at the mo

Nervous

Hopefully this car wasnt under an outdoor cover

For the last ten minutes he has been trying to get it through emissions I think.. lots of idling and some revs

I warmed it up before coming too. The roads are cold and damp so it's not very easy to do the Italian tune up either

Unlucky.. pal of mine had this issue last 2 years with his GT86, as it's decat'd (partially I think, doesn't it have 2 cats?). Sneaked though each time warming it up more though
My S has MOT next weekend, I always dread it. Although last year passed no advisories, but mines a daily and after looking at the rear near side arch, wondering how far it's gone to the seat belt mounts. Other side perfect condition. I think thev waxoyl is just about keeping it at bay.
Hope yours passes, I'm sure it will
