While you're at it have a check around the rubber bungs in the outer cill. Mine were under sealed and then painted body colour but I noticed a couple had stone chip paint damage to the rubber and missing paint and seal. Took them out and surface rust beneath. Taken all out and they all have small issues. So wired back to metal Hydrate 80 then electrox and waiting for stone chip to arrive.

nice, i had those bungs out - post a long way above - and sprayed waxoyl in the sills (or cills?)
