Autoleads stalk adaptor, MUTE and SONY
Has anybody managed to get the MUTE working with an Autoleads PC99 adaptor and SONY headunit?
I've been at this all weekend and each time I link the pink mute cable up to the iso cabling coming off the back of the radio (which is a bit a guess), press the mute button and 'bang' I blow a fuse! done it 3 times now trying it different ways and with different radios!
Has anybody had their MUTE button working with one of these adaptors and a SONY radio?
PS Its a shame the channel change button doesnt flick through your presets on this!

I believe Kenwood units get the lot working - buttons and scrolling through the channel presets. Can anyone confirm this?
My Clarion will go through the presets but the mute doesnt work - just prefer the look of the Sony really.
Is there some information regarding this adaptor anywhere and what brand of headunits retain ALL/MOST of the controls on the dash?

how about your channel button - does it go through your presets or just act as a manual tuner like mine? Bit annoying I think
