JimmyB - Do not, under any circumstances, keep your mouth shut.
NEED4SPEED - It's not in the post yet, but it will be couriered Monday.
I had two left over from the first production run, a red and silver. The intention was that I would have one or the other. I now have orders for both. Looks like I'm stuck with the prototype a bit longer.
Good news is we've made a second mold and are producing the second batch twice as quick as I type.
Thanks for all the positive feedback. I knew this was a good product, I just didn't realise how good.

Small but important point I forgot to mention for anyone installing this CAI...
When the bonnet strut is in the closed position, it's very close to, or touching the top of the CAI. Just make sure the rubber sleeve which is stock on the car, is slid to a position where it protects against any damage.

Cedric - looking at the latest pic of the engine bay - is the intake stuck to the frame using some sort of double sided tape? It's just that I can see something....
Anyway - I have figured out how to move the damn bonnet alarm switch - should take 5 mins once I have the extension!

Looks like Cedric has put something there to stock rubbing on the cross member. Not a bad idea. I originally planned to have mounting tape there but it was 1mm thick and caused the intake to rub against the bonnet. Perhaps some clear contact (sticky plastic sheet) would be good.

Actually there's nothing under the CAI that wasn't there already! That picture is very deceptive. I think that is actually the reflection of the cross member on the side of the CAI giving the impression of something being underneath it. There is actually nothing... I just checked. I didn't put anything under it as I guessed that space for the bonnet to close was at a premium anyway.
