G'day Wayne.... stumbled across your thread, now that I'm 'semi-active' in the UK forum.
Just out of curiosity.... how many AusCAI have you shipped now and where are the pictures of what the different coloured units look like (particularly yellow)??

But you must have some pictures of each of the colours, after they've been manufactured?!

Here's some photos of the red Aus intake fitted to a red car. The sound change is quite impressive. This may be improved because I'm using a K&N filter. I haven't noticed any performance increase. This may be because I've been away from the car for six weeks, so my ability to compare is a little compromised.
Instructions & fitting not too bad. I a fair bit of knuckle skin getting out the front retaining clips though.

Looks good, Chris.
Mine was fitted last weekend by Tonky. He had a fair old game wrestling the air guide out. There were a few choice words echoing around Walsall last Sunday afternoon!
The MCB paint match in mine isn't as close as the red for yours. Close, but not perfect.
I'd agree with you that it affects the noise levels - although that's perhaps less obvious for me with an HKS fitted. Very pleased with it so far, after a limited amount of driving. None of the kangarooing after pulling away from traffic, and the throttle response does seem smoother.
