Default Aus Console Cover

Well I could not wait for the meet on Sunday, so got up early this morning and fitted my leather console cover.

Very pleased with it, except I have a couple of problems

The first one is the perforated bit at the back of the console will not clip back into place properly, it is not that noticable, but I know it is there, any suggestions?

The second is where the leather tucks under the stereo cover, when I press the cover it used to just slowly release down, now it gets stuck and I have to help it , Again only minor but I want it to be perfect.

Tif, will be seeking your advice when I am fitting your bulbs tomorrow, bring a screwdriver with you incase I forget

See you all tomorrow,
Anthony

Hi Muz,

Yeah tried giving it a large amount of pressure, but no joy, am going to have a look again on Friday when I have some more time.
As for the stereo cover I am sure it just needs time to settle down, as it catches only ever so slightly
Saw you boot tidy very nice and very tempted but lacking funds for this months S2000 improvements

I was careful not to overtighten the 2 screws at the rear of the consol, and everything clipped back into place back there just fine.

I found that a significant amount of pressure had to be applied to get the front console clips to engage - mine weren't for the 1st couple of days after installing the cover, and my radio flap did come into contact with the console. Once the clips were engaged, the flap misses the console (just!)

More for me to try thanks guys

Muz,
Can you pass on my thanks to AusS2000 when you speak to him next, love my new console.

Thinking of moving to Australia to save on shipping charges, seem to get all my bits from there.
