Dug, I have never used Dodo so I can't comment, I know there are some advocats on here of the stuff but personally I would stick with P21 or Collinite.

Also pricing is not something I cannot give openly on this forum but feel free to contact me via my website or under suppliers on S2kUK.

Guzzie, the carpets can be restored using some carpet spray plus a wet and dry vac, I have found Meguiars APC to be the best bet which can be bought from Clean Your Car. Once cleaned then use some scotchbright to protect it.

Cracked leather is a little more tricky, you will need some putty colour matched for your leather plus some cleansers and rejuvinators. I would suggest a specialist for this or have a look here for some ideas.

BTW I do have a repair kit myself for black S2k seats which I maintain mine with, where are you based.

A hot water PW is definitely the way forward and Kranzle seem to be getting very good reviews over on DW. Unfortunately, they're too far out of my budget for the time being.

BTW that foam looks so

Guzzie, probably an issue with that, also you need to change your settings are you car is shown as 2000 Berlina Black/Black it should show 2000 Berlina Black/Red

Riccardo PB do some pretty good stuff and I do use them. The towels plus wash mitts are definitely a good start, what other stuff did you order?

S2ook, the foam is good fun and always gets a look of astonishment from the owners.

TM, was that your orange S2k a couple of weeks back near Hampstead Heath / Kenwood House? If so I assume you went to the picnic concert as well? Got very excited when I saw that orange S2k as, at the time, orange was my favourite colour, but in the end lack of choice of orange cars for sale meant I've gone for an MC blue one.

Received my order from Elite car care (.co.uk) today, very impressed with their service and speed of delivery. I got:

Super Soft Alloy Wheel Brush
Eurow 100% Sheepskin Wash Mitt with Interior Rubber Glove
Autoclay (soft)
Eurow X Large Waffle Weave Microfibre Drying Towel - 26" x 36"
Sonus Foam Applicator Pad
Sonus Blue Perl Microfibre Applicators (twin pack)
Poorboy's Super Slick & Suds Concentrated Car Wash
Poorboy's Super Swirl Remover SSR1 - Light Abrasive
Poorboy's Nattys Paste Wax (Blue)
Poorboys Black Hole - Show Glaze for Dark Vehicles
Poorboy's Natural Look Dressing

Will be having a first once over soon, by hand. As the car has some scratches and swirls I had wanted to take it to a pro initially, but lack of time means that will have to wait (car being picked up on Fri pm and driven to Italy where it will stay for a while). Will keep you in mind for the future, although I can't offer most of what you need (socket, off the road place or cold water tap)...

Tango, I may have asked you this before but whereabouts in the above mantra would you deal with getting rid of stone chips/small scratches?

Probably going to use the Doctor Colour stuff you recommended.

Mr Tangoman, great thread by the way.

I'm eager to use the claybar to see what kind of crap comes off but I don't have a polisher, the car park is ~100m from my apartment so no electrical power.

Would it be ok to use a coat of wax by hand after claybar.

Riccardo, nope was not me. Fraid they are becoming more common
Good collection of bits my favourite being the natural look dressing. Dilute is BTW 1:1 or more depending on how much of a matt look you want.

Integra, stone chips are never easy, the problem is matching the colour and levelling off. Langka is a good chemical product to flatten but if you have some time and patience then wet & Dry grade 4000, then polishing. Best bet is a blow over by the bodyshop, then Chips away then Honda touch up stick with Langka.

S2kEire Claybar is always a good bet, take your time constantly folding it over and use plenty of lube. Should take around 45 minutes. Then wash your car again and apply some wax. It will feel smooth. Oh and if you get a chance give it another coat of wax the following day.
