Chet, I only stock stuff that I have used myself and find to be good. If its not in my shop then I either don't like it or I have never tried it
MotoGP1, Experience tells me to start off with the least aggressive pad then work your way up until you get the result you want. For Silverstones I usually find a mild polishing pad will get the result you need. These may cause some light holograming though which you should be able to get rid of using the finishing pads.
Lightly mist your pads first with some water of quick detailer to get them slightly damp, the polish will start to perform sooner rather than being soaked up by the pads. You will known when the polish has broken down by the area you are working on going clear or you will start to get dusting of the compounds.

Hi Tango Man,
What's your opinion on snow foam? From what I've read it seems like using a good lance adaptor and a thick layer of foam will reduce the likelihood of swirling the paint as it takes off a lot of the dirt on its own. Is this the case or will I still end up having to use a sponge?

Another question for you Tango man
Just finished cleaning my car tonight , I noticed that in the low light of evening the paint on my offside rear wing looks patchy. You cant see this in bright sunlight.
I took a pic. Can this be polished out?

I'm having Ventureshield paint protection film fitted on Monday - well, the car is... Finally got round to it.
Any do's, dont's or tips re. detailing afterwards?
Any products to avoid - I hear products containing petroleum distillates should be avoided. P21S(R222) OK?
