Arrow Arse! Punctured rear tyre

Well I was having such a good time on the Tunnel Run and meet today I suppose it was inevitable I would have a chunk taken out of a rear tyre

Too nasty to even contemplate a repair so I now have a front wheel on the rear and the uber-nasty space-saver on the front...

Mine's an 04 so I have the RE050s on at the moment. They've had a fair bit of use so I'm going to replace the pair I've had a look around and e-tyres will fit a pair for

Does anyone think I should really really try out any other tyres, given that I'm looking for a pair?
No!

I wouldn't change tyre types unless changing all 4.

Bracknell Tyres are worth trying if you pass there. Normally cheaper than most other suppliers and the fitters are alloy friendly!!

Used them a few times, latterly for Michelins on the Impreza.
They operate through a franchised network. My local fitters came from Wellington in Somerset. Newly equipped van with balancer, compressor, long low lift jacks and the two kiddies both knew what they were doing. Weights were descrete and accurate. Price was better than locally.

Let us know how you get on with the Honda, Im somewhat more fussy with this being a newer car so interested to know how they get on with picking it up in the right place etc.

Oh, and as for breaking in.... always found it tough to step out the rear of the Impreza, so with new rears headed straight for the local roundabout for some fun and spun it. The old boy facing me was not amused, especially since I couldnt contain my laughter! Christ are they ever slippery when new!

This may well be a daft question( ) but how do you know you're getting the RE050MZ's on e-tyres?

Seem to remember there's a few different tread patterns with the MZ being the one we need.

I'll need some new boots shortly myself so keen to find out how you get on with this lot!

There's an 0800 number to phone and a switched on bloke on the other end of the phone. I read off the whole spec and he confirmed they were listed as S2000 specific tyres and would be used
