Default Arnold Clarke Honda Altrincham

Any view on the above dealer?

I am currently in for 36m service and the MOT - when I dropped it off, I told them that the MOT was free as it was a Honda approved car.

The phone up ten minutes ago to tell me that they know nothing about the free MOT on the approved cars!! So I have faxed over the paged from the Approved Car scheme Documentation and also phoned Honda. Honda are going to phone them and sort it out.

do they actually think that I am that stupid!!!

Anyway, I will post any other views on the place later, when I get my car back

Are these the guys that took the franchise over last year?

My car was fixed / rebuilt there after my smash last May, but it certainly wasn't called Arnold Clarke at that time.

They forgot to replace my rear disks which had been warped during my accident, and so after I had my car back, it went back in for a whole load more work.

I've got mixed feelings with these, but overall I would say they are good

+service team always polite & helpful

+/- damaged the leather on the drivers seat-but replaced under warranty after a bit of negotiation

+they (mechanics + drivers) seem relatively knowledgeable about the car

p.s take the 2004 demonstrators car out for a test drive if they still have it. Make sure you get the noddy sales guy of about 20y.o to go with you. Then ask him a load of questions about the S-you will get answers back that'll make you chuckle. Guy is a total bell end.

Savoy!!! That's the name I've been beating myself around the head to try to remember.

Thanks you Ian, I'm off to find a plaster
