arch rolling
#31
So I had Phil from ArchEnemy come yesterday to roll my rear arches.
Wheels came off, followed by the lip liner. He gave it a good clean and inspected it showing me area's of minor concern due to some panel gap'ing and paint bubbling on the inside of the arch. (Very minor) but he had high confidence.
Proceed to the other arch! Not such a good story. Seems my baby has had a knock in the past on the off-side 1/4 panel that had been repaired. Still the original panel, but the arch had filler on the lip.
Phil explained the chances are very high that the filler will break away and paint will crack which would then require a re-spray.
After looking at my options, I decided not to roll the arches and hope I can make clearance through geometry.
Although I did not have the arches rolled, Phil who covers Beds, Bucks, Hertz area for ArchEnemy seemed a decent enough bloke, knowing what he does and giving you honest opinions.
