Apex i VAFC - Anyone had any experience of ?
Guys,
Was considering getting an Apexi VAFC for my S and wondered if anyone had put one in their car and what sort of results they got ?
Any noticeable power gains or feels quicker ?
I know that the VAFC should be set up correctly and SC Honda have said that they would fit it for me but they do not have a rolling road and would need to take it to Jaguar in Crawley. Anyone recommend somewhere in or near West Sussex that would be able to setup a VAFC on the RR and don't say TDI as they didn't seem to keen or helpful
Thanks
Ryan

Ryan, this isn' t perhaps the most helpful answer, but do a search - this has come up on the UKL board at least twice recently, and is bound to have been discussed to the n-th degree on the "main" mostly-US boards.

Perhaps, but Ryan is more likely to find the info that he is looking for by doing a search, especially given that this kind of modding is more the preserve of the Septics.

There is like 1500 odd results if you do a search porbably most from the US.
I was just wondering if anyone had done it to a UK car (ie us poss slightly different setup) and what sort of results they got. Is it worth the effort ?

I had one and am awaiting delivery of a second one (don't ask. Ok, flip-flopping priorities.)
I'm in Aus, but our cars are similar (the steering wheel is on the right side). At the time I only had the Aus Intake Extension. I had the car tuned on a dyno (rolling road as you and my dad say) and gained about 7Kw at about 7500 with reasonable gains before and after by leaning out the mixturefrom about 4000 up. YMMV
And they look pretty neat in the cockpit too BTW.
