Ap2 bumper lip on old bumper
I bought an Ap2 bumper lip when my car is a prefacelift, I didn't realise my mistake untill I had it painted and went to fit it. My first thought was to just go buy another one but then I decided to try and make it work.
So With a pack of fibreglass, expanding foam some P38 and P40 and several packs of sandpaper I got to work attaching it.
As soon as it was ready for paint I put the bumper back on the car, then the next day whilst dropping my friend off in town a mercedes vito decided to resverse into me and knocked out the plugs for the plate mount and detached the lip .
I decided to let the bodyshop repair it and fully respray the car here are the results, I'm really happy with it .

Just checked the ebay listing in my emails, its not prefacelift fitment, hence the extended bits i had to do to make to fit.
this is what my ebay purchase said:
"Enjoy your honda S2000 front lip Ap1 style for Ap2 facelift my04 New."

to the OP
your car is a PFL and the lip you bought is a PFL Lip
some of them don't fit properly so you had to butcher it to make it fit
here is a FL lip:
If you want this look then you will need to change your front bumper too
