AP1 Wheels on Berlina Black.... What colour?

haha yep they're the ones!
I like the black, but it seems everyone prefers gunmetal grey or bronze or any other colour than black to suit better...
Now i wouldn't want to look like a one of those guys wearing "black shoes and white socks" for example would i????
Might have to be the grey then, anyone had this done already and got a colour reference i can use please? also pics would help

Unless he has imported a USDM or JDM model or transplanted a 2.2 F22C into it then he will just have an MY04+ facelift AP1.
I disagree. Gunmetal shades on black look great!

Actually, that's not too bad either, (mine usually look that sort of colour as they are so filthy)! 
Generally, wheels work best when they provide contrast to the paint, so you can have dark coloured wheels with the brighter coloured cars, but you don't want your wheels to be lost.
The only exception really is for white cars (unless you have white-walled tyres).

I would say gold.
Black on black looks okay in an extreme way, but note the car in that picture above is obviously lowered, and the photo has clearly been taken immediately after an 8 hour polishing session. It'll never look that good in real life.
All the greys just look like your wheels are dirty, or you weren't brave enough to go for black.
