Anyone want to buy a kidney, legs, arm....
Well got my quote from CG, for fitting my H&R's and doing a few bits.
Good god is all I have to say
I didn't realise I had to sell a body part or remortgage the house.
So once the shock settles down, I am going to fit everything myself to help save costs, Then go for a basic GEO setup (Hopefully won't be as much for a GEO only).

It isn't too difficult to swap coilovers yourself.
I would estimate 3-4hrs if you know what you are doing. 5hrs if it is your first time.
Start with the fronts. These should be quite straightforward. To remove the mounts from the OEM shocks you need to insert a 5mm Allen key into the end of the shock (IIRC).
When doing the rears it is a PITA to get into the mount on the passenger side. It only takes a few minutes to undo the petrol filler pipe and move it out of the way to make the job a lot easier.

Coilovers are easy. Do it yourself.

It's the threat of seized bolts which can impact the cost, Col.
All the suspension has been replaced within the last year, new geo done by Honda with the last 2 weeks.
I know the guy is brillant, But I am completely shocked at the cost

Have Chris's rates gone up all of a sudden (to pay for the new facilities, maybe?)....? Or is it just that you didn't know what to expect and it was a bit of a shock, Kiwi?

Not sure of your specific situation, but i thought exactly the same thing before i went, but bit the bullet anyway.
Looking back now, i would pay twice the price and travel twice the distance
But thats just me
