I've had ideas of tracking the omega for a laugh. v6 & rwd, gotta be some fun (turn that tc off 1st though!!! ) Would only want to do a half day or less. The weight would shed those pads & tyres in no time.
Omegas are RWD? didn't realise that.

I used to be able to make my 2cv go pretty fast.

It was an art of not braking and using hills and traffic lights to my advantage. I'm not sure I'd fancy tracking one though.
My first car was a green 2CV (DHS 925T ... still remember the reg) and I used it to commute to work along a bit of dual carriageway. Once you wound it up to a giddy 60mph, you just used to scream at people to get out the way. Slightest dab on the brakes and you were back to scratch.

Oh ... and don't try handbrake turns. I learned the hard way ... handbrake works the front wheels. Actually, it was a useless thing anway. Drove all the way to Edinburgh once with it on ...

Fond memories of that car ... the girls loved it

Certainly are. Wouldn't have bought one otherwise Goes pretty well when you're pressing on too.

New or used? Well, they're all 'used' now as they've stopped production a year or so ago.
