It may be common knowledge, but I didn't know! The bridge over The Seine at Pont Mathilde is closed due to this

I had meticulously planned my route to Spain (one week to go woo hoo!!) Apparently the diversions don't take too much longer though.

Sorry, too late for the Le Mans guys I think.

Fooking hell. What caused that? Is that a boat underneath?

Fortunately we're off to the south coast but via Dijon so won't be going near it (53 more sleeps!)

"The tanker accident (22,000 litres of diesel and 9,000 litres of petrol) was actually on the bridge. Naturally the burning liquid poured off the bridge setting fire to whatever was beneath."

That'll do the job!

I start the countdown at 100 most years

When it gets to 10 sleeps, me and the missus exchange countdown pics each day. e.g.

Came back from Spain through there a few weeks ago on the bike.

The detour just takes you about a mile further down the river to another bridge, then back along the other bank.

How do those who drive down to the south of France with their S2's find it on fuel?

Flying down this year, but looking to drive next year. Tolls should be around £90 each way?
