Default Anyone take advantage of the quite roads yesterday

I can't stand football so went out for an extra spirited drive yesterday evening knowing that the roads would be quieter than normal. I saw one S2000 while blatting around and surprisingly not a single plod or mobile speed trap

I asked the missus why she hadn't screamed as usual when we got home to which she said "I was too scared to scream!"

I left Central London on the day of the last England game and made it back to mid-Sussex in record time. Running ahead and behind a Mercedes CLK Cabriolet on the M25 at 110-120 (kph, obviously) helped. He was top down and in a hurry. But does it mean that we now have to wait another four years for empty roads?!

I happened to be traveling back from some friends, and yes the roads were quiet.

I still don't actually know who won the world cup, and i'm not even sure who the last two teams were. I think italy was one, but don't know about the other.

I did - I had gone back ot parents after FoS and then whipped home during the second half. Lovely, quiet roads but it didn't stop a Focus appearing behind me, hassle me whilst I kept to speed limit in a little village, and then slop about as he struggled to keep up in the twisties

I got some time on the bike when the roads were quiet

Only had to let one car past this time, and not a single other biker

Sadly..... "Scotland vs big team in major international football competition = deserted roads" is not an equation I will see very often
