Default Anyone recommend a good track day experience

Hi I need advice if you can help.

Its my mates 30th coming up and I want to get him a decent track day, the problem is he drives a new shape M3 so there's not much point paying for him to float around a track in a flash car when he drives one day by day anyway, and all the experiences I have done have been rubbish just being told what to do and when and following endless bloody cones round a track.

Hes not experienced a track day before and I want to get him something where he can throw a car around a bit and not be restricted to cones and limiters on cars.

I have been thinking about a drifting day but have no experience myself, we are based in the south west, but dont mind travelling.

All recommedations welcome, if theres nothing decent I spose I could just blow all the money and take him lapdancing instead.

Cheers chaps, the Palmersport looks great but little pricey, the Caterham drift might be a goer.

the Caterham Drift Experience looks great fun - any reviews of it anywere ? my own worry with these sort of things is that you only get an hour in the car over the whole day...
