Personally I don't like the airbox off noise, and would prefer a HKS (hint hint N4S ). However, the former is very easy to try out & undo with no investment.

When booting it in a FW car, you notice continual bangs from the front drive and traction areas. Ced can vouch for this I`m sure, but if you cane a CTR you`ll get a clunk,clunk,clunk,clunk from the front as the wheels bounce on the suspension. We`re talking proper bangs here, not wheelspins.

do Spoon recommend removing the airbox partition then?

thing is if it is the thing to do why do Honda put the baffle in? - Is this to reduce noise?
