Default Anyone help with MY04 rear bumper...

I booked car in via insurers to have the damage repaired caused by the idiot that parked up my rear end and GK Ford Accident Repair Centre in Mansfield have had it three days and it's worse than when it went in!!

Got it home and went to wipe dust from area worked on and the paint simply peeled off with a light wipe and prior to work i made a particular point of telling them the recessed panel that holds the number plate sits flush all the way around....
still have about a 1/2" gap!!!

I've zoomed some of my own pics and it looks like this is the case but just wanted to make sure before i go to town with them.

They've even left a serrated edge on the number plate recess where someone has had what looks like a screwdriver or similar to try and prize it off!

Best of it is they want me to re-book and have the Ford KA again next week while they try and do what they said they would do the first time and return it to pre-accident condition (just like they state on the expensive glossy framed posters they have in the waiting room telling you why you should use them) but times up on that one... i used the KA three days last week doing upto 220 miles a day and i aint sufering more due to their crappy, shoddy low standards of workmanship.

It's in the hands of the Insurers complaints dept. now, i want Honda dealership to do repair and suitable replacement car and they can bill GK Ford at Mansfield for the cost for all i care.

Muppets!

Sorry to rant, my question was does the rear number plate recess fit flush to the bumper all the way around?

Hi Burnie... thanks for the offer, it's good of you but i think i will have to go the route of the insurers to get a loan car whilst the S is in.

Thanks again though.
