Anyone help me with the air idle valve? I think
I have installed a 2003 f20c into my kit car and have removed and bypassed the air pump. I am running dta s60 pro ecu and prm intake.with aem afr gauge!
My prm intake has 2x smaller take offs. 1 goes to the head as per pics I've sourced but the other is currently not used.
Now, what looks to be some kind of air idle valve has quite a large inlet above a tiny air hose. The larger inlet is not used at the moment but if I put my finger over it when running I can feel it sucking and afr readings alter dramatically ! Is it something that can stay disconnected or can I link it to the prm intake to feed air to it, if it needs it? Cheers

Pics needed!
Normally on an intake, one goes to the crank breather and the other is connected to the secondary air pump. Iirc it's for mopping up emissions on cold start, by pumping in more air.
I've deleted the air pump on my S, and therefore I just cap that connection on my intake.
Air idle control valve is different.
