Anyone got MajorHavoc wind blockers?
Has anyone tried the wind blockers from the S2KI store? For $25 they are very cheap, certainly cheaper than the head rests. Anyone make a recommendation?
Thanks,
Rob

Of all the things I have added to the S, these silly little pieces of thin plastic remain one of the best things I ever did. When it is cool/cold you can really notice the difference, no more cold wind up the back of your neck.
On a 1 to 10 rating, they come in at about 12.

I got them too and I think they are a brilliant mod. If coupled with a 3/4 or full screen you should have a great top down ride with more comfort.
Installation is literally 30 seconds for an idiot and 15 for normal intellegence.
You can't see that they are there once installed.

I won mine in a prize draw thingy in the chatroom on Christmas Eve. By that time, I had already ordered some AusS2000 headrests, which were en route. I wish I hadn't now - I could have saved the money and been happy with the MajorHavoc ones

Out of interest Mark - do you know how the Aus compare to Ricks?
I prefer the look of Ricks, they are slightly more expensive. But I am not going to rush and buy until I have tried your havoc for that pint

Dunno exactly, to be honest, Ian.
I opted for the Aus ones (a) because there was a group buy going on and I could get them at a discount and (b) from the photos I had seen, they seemed to "stick out" less than the Ricks ones, which was the way I preferred them.
The MH ones do the job admirably in terms of reducing wind-down-your-neck. The reason I bought some "proper" headrests was mainly to help guard against whiplash in the event of an accident.

I wouldn't let on about being tired, or Squeak will take that as meaning that she needs to drive, rather than you.
I'm going to install my Aus headrests this weekend, so the MH ones will be ready to hand over whenever I see you next.
