Edd - I have never done this on the S or any other car but I'm happy to have a go on yours if you like.

And I won't charge much

Edd,

The rear brake calipers don't push back like the fronts. You need to insert a tool into a slot to 'wind' the piston in. I used a long sturdy file, but any tool that can sit in the slot and give you enough leverage will do the job.

Please be careful using the file, a screwdriver might be better if you don't have the tool. The reason is you don't want the sharp teeth of the file to rip the soft rubber boot around the piston.

Edd. I have the exact tool for the VW. I`m sure it`ll fit the S. If you want to name a weekend you are welcome to drive to mine and we`ll sort it out between us. Assuming you are within reasonable petrol distance.
