Default anyone bought from SPOONSPORTSEUROPE.com

was wandering has anyone used the spoon sports europe site and bought something from them

i just ordered an air filter and carborn duct from them and came to like 4oo and something includes delivery. They then said that they had the filter but not the duct which was fine so i knew i was gonna wait for the duct but they said i would get the filter first...

now i still haven'g got the filter but thet've taken the money from my card already...

has anyone been in this sort of situation... i tried calling today they said they will call back but they didnt...

I tried 3 times to call them this week and got so pisse off in the end im not bothering with them.

The last time, I was put on hold for over 5 mins and I just hung up.

Im going to order from Takakiara in Japan - cheaper and prob quicker!

That's pretty normal for most web suppliers I've come across.
Suggest you give SSE a phone.

Errr given what Mark just said give them a phone and if you don't get through email them to tell them that you're contacting your credit card company to arrange for a refund.

Sounds like something has gone downhill there!

I have delt with SpoonSportsEurope.net (.com was actually SumoPower in disguise I think).

Ant who used to work there was a great contact. I've not dealt with them since he left.

Sumo had the .com web addy though, Ants company (can't remember the parent company name) had the .net address.

And yeah, without Ant's enthusiasm, I'm not too sure.

SSE's prices are outrageous. Consult your old pal Google to easily find 3/4 UK companies at (in some cases) 60% of what they want.

Re the Spoon equpiment - I've used most of their kit on my S2 - But I use Duncan at Tokyo Express to get the parts for me (SSE are a bit weak when it coming to dealing with directly!)- still costs the same - but he won't mess you about & will tell you as it is re availability / delivery etc

Hope you get everything Sorted
Cheers
Peter
