When your choice is a either the 5 series BMW or the "S" I'll take the "S" every time. I know I'm tempting fate, but no major incidents so far. Damn! I wish I hadn't said that now....

Mine didn't move for 15 days as it got snowed in at work and just didn't want to risk it.

Moved it the other day and discovered I need two new rear tyres which are being fitted 23rd as well as having the geo done - rear end is very skittish!

And anyone who says that factory tyres are no different, I got 18k out of my first set and only 7k out of these ones.

Took her to work Friday - had a blizzard mid morning and a couple of inches of snow - slid home

Was away the weekend so didn't use her as we trained it up to London and decided to brave public transport yesterday.

Temperature above zero this morning so took her out. My road is not gritted and we had fun there but the rest of the local roads appear fine as long as you take care and don't drive like a maniac!

No! Far too dangerous. Someone will probably run into you just when you think, Oh great I've got all the way to X without any snags

Oh what a beautiful day. Sunshine = top down. Saw a black 58(?) plate at the Trafford Centre around lunchtime. Parked on the top deck.

Anyone else having fun with flying ice?

When it lifts off the truck/van tops, it gains quite a height. With the top down you can see it looming large. Couple of times I had to stick it in third and gun it to get out from under it. Close enough that I could hear it whistle over...

Makes you feel a bit James Bond
