Another 07 Question...

There are three simple ways to tell if it is or not, the dealer should be able to help with at least the first.
1) The VSA off button is below the instrument binacle on the right of the wheel. It's the most obvious way to check.
2) When you turn on the ignition the VSA lights will I think come on briefly.
3) find a wet roundabout, or my favourite a tight off camber left turn with loose chippings.

If your car does not have VSA I would attempt to get your deposit back and pick up a brand new 08 one from Motorpoint for 21k.
Its a little to late to change dealer now as finance etc has gone through etc and I'm supposed to be picking up car on Thurs.
Dam thats really annoying!

They will be Euro imports, you are probably better off with a UK dealer and the suport that offers.
I had to post and let you know though just incase you were intrested.

I've owned two S2000s, one with VSA and one without, I wrote off the one that did not have VSA. I was driving reasonably slowly on a wet road when the accident happened and I'm sure VSA would have saved me.
I'm not saying VSA is essential because I drove the car faster and harder in worse conditions and didn't have a single problem. The one time the backend did kick out I managed to recover it but there will always be an occasion when you are not concentrating or are too heavy with your right boot and you will be thankful that VSA is on the car. One example is pulling out at junctions in heavy traffic in the wet but having said that I did find the non-VSA car did have good traction in the wet if you drove sensibly. The sense of delight of pulling away at a junction in the wet and getting the traction hooked up put a smile on my face, with the VSA car I feel like I'm cheating if the light comes on.
The only other time I had a "moment" was pulling away at a set of traffic lights in the wet, too heavy with my right foot caused the back end to go to the left rather than move the car forward but a quick lift-off and back on the gas and the traction hooked up again. It must have looked cool from the outside.
Given the choice of two identical cars, I would choose the one with the VSA simply because it gives added safety especially if it is driven daily.
