Annoying Rattle

Just seems strange that when I hold the door in tight the sound goes away - that's why I don't think it is the spare wheel bolt etc.

Slammed the door hard this morning and it was OK for 25 miles - got to the blackwall tunnel and it started again.

Aaaaarrrrgggghhhhhh !!!!

It sounds like you may be able to cure this by adjusting the striker plate in the door jamb which your door locks into. It may be better to let your dealer do it as the screws tend to be hellish tight. It could need just moving inwards a touch.
