Looking for an alternator belt for the S, but for a non a/c car. It isn't for me before you ask, it is for a guy in Italy.

Sppon Sports Europe make one which can be found here http://www.spoonsportseurope.net/proddetai...d=38920-AP1-000

But that seems very steep for a belt at

honda part is 31110-PCX-G01 for the s2000 CR without AC, alternatively the existing part should still have the metric part # number printed on the belt - something like 6PK0980

Thanks for that.

So is there any difference between the CR and an AP1 in respect of the belt ?

difficult to say! theres three part numbers for the belt s
which are ;
AP1 with a/c
CR with a/c
CR with out a/c

I thought ap1 all came with a/c standard ?

Its really quite easy to measure the existing belt too and count the number of ribs to get a off the shelf part.
Do they still have access to the original belt ?

I will ask him and see what he says.

Think I'll post over in the US to see if they have the answers as they will have a lot more experience of the CR than we do.

Cheers.

Thanks for the info everyone.

Just had a message from the guy in Italy. He works in a body shop and he was able to get a belt from his supplier, it cost him 16 Euros. he's over the moon as he thought he was going to have to pay the 90 quid for the Spoon one.
