Default Alloy Refurb before part-ex

Hypothetical question folks.

Would you pay to have the alloys refurbed on a car your were intending to part-ex in order to maximise the trade-in?

Dealers look for any reason to put the boot in so is it worth paying the

Depends how much the dealer knocks off the part-ex/price.

If selling it to a dealer no, if I was selling privately then I might depending on how bad they are.
