I don't think I've ever used 5th to be honest.

And as for your tyres....

Yep it did that to me when I had that car, Fill it up now !!!!!!

You will get ~40 miles out of that half of the tanks - believe me I know!

That car's fuel gauge plummets once it gets just below half full!

oh.. and back on topic I've had 270 out of a tank.. going over to wales, most of the way doing 120.. metres per hour or something... (before i hit wales and did 45 behind a behemoth of a lorry taking up both sides of the road

Its actually starting to p1ss me off. Thats only 4000 miles, half of which was winter. I didn't mean to run it completely slick, but the T1R seems to just completely disintegrate just after you hit the wear limiter. The same tyre passed MOT perfectly fine a week or so before it looked like that.

anything is good on fuel compared to that
