Default Alarm/ Key Fob

Does anyone know how this thing works? I used the dented button to open and un-arm the immobiliser, and the raised one to lock the car. Sometimes it beeps and other times it doesn't.

I cant work out how to make it beep or not, just not sure what Im doing with it. Anyone got any ideas?

Instructions are in the FAQ: http://api.viglink.com/api/click?for...13724026573797

It should never beep. Beeps indicate that a door/bonnet/boot is open. All in the link.

Possibly the worst alarm system I have had on any car I have seen/owned.

The only thing that lets this car down!

Thanks guys. I noticed that if I held the lock button down for a couple of seconds and then did it again it does chirp.

Does anyone know the battery size for this key fob. Most dealers and car part dealers look at me like I should hire Indiana Jones to find one.

It depends which fob you have, either an MN21 12V bigger fob or a 10A C5 9V smaller fob

It's the small fob with the inset button and the raised button for the AP1 model. eBay are selling the fob for £20 which is extortionate
