Default Alarm fob

This is mine

- rubber is done. Can a new case be purchased without getting all the internals too? The dealer here says I have to get everything new - which will include the new internals and programming. Is this true for you guys?

I wouldn't have thought they are available separately.

Buy a broken one off someone?

The dealer is lying... unsuprisingly.

If i were you try and just replace the rubber or try and get a replacement case on the bay.

There are 3 little screws on the back which allows you to split the case in half. The "guts" can then be changed at leisure.

(there are none on the bay at the moment) - but 2nd hand ones usually go for around

Yes, I just checked and they have some other model on there. I will see what I can jury rig in the mean time.

Came up with this for now.

Anyone know how to arrest the decay of rubber? It looks like maybe greasy hand got to it and it has that feel of when rubber meets gas.

Alternatively ring up the manufacturer who supplies them for a fiver!!

Assuming these are made by the same company that makes my slightly different 2 button remote.

Call Hamilton & Palmer 01732 760022.

The chap selling them on ebay is making a handsome profit.

There are a few on sale on ebay, this is the LINK but seems a bit pricey to me. Would be interested in this as mine have the wording faded on them.

Looks like they don't ship outside the UK anyway.

Got two for a tenner each of fleabay... Identical to yours. One brand new, the other was used but perfect.

Had to wait about two months for them to appear though!!!
