airbox lid off - humming noise

Default airbox lid off - humming noise


As the title ...

took my airbox lid off for the great induction raw however i am getting a loud humming niose from the airbox, is this the resanator and do i need to block it to cure the problem ?

It can't really be cured without buying a an after market cold air intake (at least I couldn't stop the humm when I tried)

There is a trick for blocking a hole in the second chamber of the box but it didn't work for me.

If you want to hear a hum... try an AEM v2 at idle. Now that's a hum!

Not complaining, mind you... it's all part of the character. The hum isn't audible at 8000 rpm with your foot on the floor... if you know what I mean...
