Air Filters?

Your only going to see an improvement IF the Honda filter is restrictive and I don't believe it is
Think about it, the thousands of hours put into development of the car and Honda missed a few free HP by fitting the wrong filter
Ok they have a few extra criteria such as noise( inside and out ) and the degree of filtration
Look at the service interval for the filter it must be massively over specified to still be ok after all those miles
I can also say from experience the plastic moulding that's part of the Honda filter is much much better than K&N fit.
I do believe the OEM box is a little restrictive ( most likely part of the noise suppresion )and adding another cold intake pipe could probably make it one of the best and certainly cheapest mods to do.

Bear in mind apart from filtration the engine can only a certain consume a certain amount of air in a given time.
People wonder why the Spoon filter is bobble shaped, its to increase surface area within a confined space - on a spoon race car setup the way it is, it will make a very small difference as they want to extract maxiumum performance.
I would put a lot of money on an aftermarket filter doing F all performance wise, an air intake system is a different kettle of fish.
