Default Air Filters?

Hey everyone,
Thinkng of uprating my air filter, im not looking for carbon air boxes or snorkels, just something I can drop right into the original air box, I know I wont get massive power gains, just knowing Ive uprated something performance wise is good enough for me O and improving the induction noise is also a positive Ive been looking at a few filters from companies such as Spoon Sports, J's Racing and Mugen, (although the Mugen one seems pretty expensive to me) Ive also been looking at K&N but also not keen on that one, has anyone got any of the above air filters and if so, how do they perform, any advice is appreciated, thanks.

I've got the Cosworth drop-in filter. I had it fitted at my last service - very little, if any, noticable increase in performance... Car did run a bit better but it always will after having a good service

Also check out an ITG drop in filter, for induction noise you will need to blank/fill the resonator. for a noticable performance improvement you will need to de-baffle the box and fit a snorkle or at the very least a radiator slam panel with an air guide.

OEM filter for the win!

No annoying mid range wistle (AEM) and loud noise to alert the police you are "on it". And how much money in R&D you think Honda spent to make that lovely intake? Is why I'm leaving mine standard

Horses for courses though

Oh yeah sorry. Complete waste of money (worse air filtration for the sake 2 bhp gained). Like putting magnets on your fuel lines for more mpg

Hey just thought of another reason not to go aftermarket long ram: no panicking everytime you see a puddle about hydrolocking your engine.
