Air Con?
I can't remember from my last S of a problem but my 06 is a bit strange.
When i first got the car i tried the A/C out and noticed it was cold for about 1 min then went warm for about 10 secs then went cold again and so on and so forth.
Is this normal for the A/C on these cars or do i have a half charged system?
It was really irritating in the hot weather as it blew warm air on you every now and again.
I know its a bit late now the summer has ended but i wanted to get it sorted sooner rather than later.
Cheers

I suspect this is to do with the heat exchanger getting condensation on it.
A lot of people use the aircon on a wet day to benefit from the low humidity airflow into the car. If you also have some heat on then you won't really notice the temperature cycle mentioned.
However if you operate the aircon at max cold on a cool, damp day then you get a massive build up of condensation on the heat exchanger. It's even possibe to get ice forming on the heat exchanger in these conditions.
All air con systems have sensors to detect this and they all react in the same way. They effectively go into reverse and heat up the heat exchanger to get rid of the ice / excess condensation.
It's the same reason why people sometimes report mist coming out of the air ducts.
