air box lid off- strange noise at idle

As i had a non standard exhaust i could not tell the dirrerence when i done a mod that was suggested here.
Take the filter out and block the hole that is under neath it to the reasonance box.
I used a piece of foam and then duck tape, replace every thing including the lid and see it that makes it louder and no whistling.

no, mine definatly whistles at idle and at no other point.
TBH, its too loud for everyday driving. Just nice to do sometimes so i won't be getting a PRM or CAI. i just wondered if there was an easy way to get rid of the whistling.

I like the noise. It sounds like a Tornado jet from 2 miles away, whilst it's standing on a runway about to take off, amid a swarm of locusts, subtly nibbling on maize husks on a warm afternoon in July, somewhere in the prarie regions of northern Dakota...or Wyoming.
