Air bag warning light
what i thought was the seat belt light is i think the airbag light, how could this be on if the airbags havent gone off? is this possible?
Also I just fitted a abs sensor to the rear wheel, and the light went out in the dash, then when i started driving it came back on again! another problem!

What does the first light look like? SRS is airbags, seatbelts is a picture of a person with a strap across them...IIRC. If it's the latter, check the connection under the seat, making sure all the pins are clean.
Second hand or new ABS sensor? You'll need to be sure that it's fitted correctly and hasn't come loose. Get the code read to be sure where the problem lies

Its a picture of a person with a seatbelt on with a round ball infront of him, its not the seatbelt that goes out when i plug the belt in.
its a second hand abs sensor, when i first plugged it in the light went out but now its just on all the time.

Hmmm...could you post a pic please?
It probably is the sensor, they are a nightmare to remove without causing damage. As I said though, get the code read to be sure.

Often an SRS (airbag) fault will need to be cleared by a dealer, or someone with the correct software.
The SRS computer unit is independant of the ECU.
You'll need a specialist to fix that.
Common causes are poor connection to the velocity sensor(s) or the slip ring on the drivers steering wheel.
Its not an MOT fail though, but you may prefer to get it sorted.
The ABS fault IS an MOT fail point.
