Down, but bend it to shape a bit so it doesn't hit the floor. Also depends what height setting you have it on. If you get stuck I might be able to look one weekend if you can get to Poole, or Andy at Veysport is handy at it now.

Just FYI, I have the wide BC seats and BC rails, and I can slide if forward just fine. It does rub agains tthe tunnel but not enough to stop me sliding it. I spend about 4 hours installing them making mm adjustments to get the best fit. Only thing is that if you are tall the rear rail bolt stops the seat from sliding as far back as it could.

As for the buckles I used buckles from a crx or del sol (from a breakers). They are different to the S and as such give a little more movement.

Just got back from my first drive with the seat in and all I can say is that it's well worth the effort! Transforms the car IMO!

To be honest it's not such a big deal as I made out. Turns out I was just trying to to fit to seat way too low. Racket spanners would be a big help though!

I'll post up some pictures in a bit!

I cant recommend them enough. The passenger side will be offered once I'm back from Korea.

Sorry a bit of a thread revival but can anyone recommend which seat belt extenders fit the s2000? a link to a supplier would be even better.

Tia

i found a guy on ebay that sells a 27mm buckle type extender. Fits my 2006 model perfectly

Seatbelt extender

Email him and he will give you a price with postage. The only issue is that the belt doesn't have the relevant legal markings on it but after looking at it im more than happy with the quality of the stitching and the item.

Is there anyone with a Recaro SP-G seat installed in their S? If so, do you have any problems with access to the centre glove-box? Thanks.

Thanks Mark much appreciated

Any idea if this would be the same for a 2000 car? Heard that they might be slightly different.
