Yeah if you have a slim build then is ok, I think most of the people in UK are ok. Is the American having big problem with the seat. Even the US spec R35 have a bigger seat just to suit their size

Is there a seat available which allows easy swapping between OEM and itself, so I could use it for trackdays? i.e uses the same rails as OEM?

Also, it'd be good if they could come without the nasty writing on.

Not that I know of, Si.

I think the JDM seat is a good option, with a CG lock.

Although still heavy.

I got bruising from my CG lock at Spa, hence the question really.

Weight not really an issue for me.

Ah well, nevermind...

Once a bucket seat has been installed it is quite easy to swap between it and an OEM seat, it is only the 4 bolts on the floor that have to be removed and the seat/rail is swapped as a complete unit.

I had to do this when I had my bucket seats re-covered a couple of years back.

Thanks Steve, I was a bit confused by MB's posts about it being a palaver with the rails etc

IMO it is. Certainly with the Buddyclub XL ones. You can get a bit of a technique going to do it, but with mine it's not as simple as 4 bolts, as the rails try and spring outwards and they wouldn't go back in. I have to insatll the rails with 4 bolts a little loose, then drop the seats into the side mounts (also loose) then bolt it all up. Cabin is too small really.

I think your install problems are more to do with the rails than the seats. I may have similar problems when I try and swap my rails over in the next couple of weeks.
