Might be worth considering a full custom cat back. Be cheaper than the name brands and you can get it to look and sound how you want.

I was very impressed with the Garage R with the oval pipes.

The Invidia sounds good at full chat - loud - like a fighter plane

I have a custom made SS single exit exhaust.

I wanted a super quiet yet power yielding 3" system that would not encounter trackday noise problems. It was made to my specification by some very skilled local specialists. Their workshop was full with all sorts from the earliest Bentley to exotic spaceframed race cars wanting inconel manifolds ( £6k each ).

It is much quieter than my previous exhaust (fujitsubo legalis R, not much louder than standard) and the turbo seems to spool substantially faster. I personally dont think the exhaust noise of an inline 4 is very nice and shouldn't be amplified !

Raz did you get your AFR checked after fitting the new exhaust? If not, I would!

My Asura is superb noise wise given the amount of gas going through it, nice and quiet

MB do not worry!

I only drove it 15 miles to home and I dont think I took it over 4krpm!

She is now safely back on her familiar axle stands whilst I fit the new front and rear brakes. I also need to solve a minor oil leak from the oil filter relocation pipework before I can get her tuned

I might have to trek down to Romain/Eurospec as im losing faith in the yocal tuner!
