AEM Wideband 30-0300 gauge install
I’m trying to fit my AEM Wideband gauge today but it appears to be considerably more complex than I anticipated.
I know That the white wire gets spliced into pin C16 and the brown earth can use D9 on the original ECU harness but I need to find another live and earth for the red and black wires, does anybody know where would be best to use ?
Any help appreciated on this as im a bit lost and need to get this installed ready for mapping ASAP.
many thanks
Simon.

Hey,
Sorry it is the X-Series UEGO Wideband (30--0300)
Looks like I will have to split the Power wires harness as the ECU is on the other side of the car to the fuse box, bah UK cars !! xD
Thanks for your help.

Upon taking a look at my ecu harness I don’t appear to have a D9 ground, the D plug is missing altogether. I have A, B and C. Where should I connect the wideband sensor ground wire ?
thanks
thanks

I have the same sensor, the d9 ground wire just ground it to the body, same place you use the earth for gauge same as me, power there is a blank terminal in the fuse box for ignition live. and you don't splice it you cut the old sensor away and join.

If you want power from the fuse box, have a look at a fuse tap on ebay or amazon, easy and simple to install and you get a fused line for your power to the gauge..
There is a ground nut to the right and up a bit from the fuse box, you can crimp a ring terminal here and put it under that bolt.
If your gauge has the option for a light dim settings. Then in the fuse box to the top left there are 3 empty spade terminals. The top one is linked to your lights. So you can crimp a female spade terminal to your dim wire and plug it straight in there. Hope this helps
I can't help with the ecu wiring as mine went Into an after maker ecu..
