Advice on selling my S
I am having to sell my beloved at the end of May as I need to opt back into a car scheme for work based on the mileage I will be doing.
I'm keen to get opinion on whether I should put new rears on the car prior to sale, or if this is not necessary.
It was serviced in January this year, and the report said I had 5mm of tread on all tyres; I have done 1k more of normal driving so far brining this up to 19k and expect to do a maximum of 1500 between now & the end of May.
Is it worth replacing the rears prior to sale? I'm currently avoiding longer journeys where possible now to try and save myself spending an extra

If I'll get knocked down I may as well throw some on early & enjoy the car fully!
(Yesterdays budget has also knocked a few

Im in the same position... selling mine in May/June and probably need to do the rear tyres..
I also need a service in April.. so with the both of those things done i guessing the car will be more attractive to potential buyers.
Go for it... do the tyres!

Tyres aren't really a big deal - I doubt someone would walk away from the car if they liked everything else about it, especially as it's quickly sortable. It's easy enough to knock

Thanks LL, think thats what my mind is telling me makes sense.
Still a huge part of me (well all of me infact!) doesnt want to get rid of the S; even a year in I still sometimes just stand there & stare at it after parking up.
I can see why so many previous owners return to the fold
