Hi All
Would greatly appreciate if someone could advise me on how I can remove the following part on my car

I want to replace it as it has some nasty looking deep scratches

Thanks

I'd be interested to know this as well!

Hope it's not a hood out job because that would be just ridiculous.

Do you own or have downloaded the S2000 service manual. It is explained over there in (exterior trim removal, section rear tray Opening molding replcement) page 20-102.

Lings price for that bit is £300 = VAT , looks like its bolted in, I would guess its parcel shelf out and undo the back edge of the soft top to get to it, try a post "whos replaced the soft top" they would know.

Have a look for my thread on roof leaks.

Once you get to the point where the rain rail and hood have been separated from that area, you can see the bolts that hold it on.

Take car with the rubber along the underside of the new rail...this is crucial to watertight integrity.

Correct, it's a hood out job to replace.
