If you want a copy of my serial gauge cal just let me know. It has wideband, egt, boost, ait, coolant and mph. Just need to set the ecu up for that order. It's set up for a 4bar map sensor as well.

As a general question and maybe of some help - are there any apps out there that can you download on your phone & plug the phone in to the ecu as a temporary fix to diagnose the issue as or has that app not been developed yet........AJ?

Confident now it is the map sensor, new one on its way but holiday ruined. Not sure the Pyrennes tomorrow will be the same in a C3 diesel.

It won't be the ecu map, as maps don't change. Sadly sensors and other hardware does.

Give the MAP a whack for now. Normally don't advise it but as you are stuck, might be worth a try.

Just watched your vid

Difficult to tell but it certainly is laggy. Is it actually misfiring? Sounds rough. Or is it just trying to stall?

You need to do an ECU log, that will reveal all.

Internal or PC one, internal is better.

Lloyd, fairly classic symptom of a water temperature sender, or an intermittant connection to it.

The digital dash is heavily damped so you don't see short duration temp changes from bad sensors/wires like the old 'clocks'.

But if you sometimes need pedal on the floor whilst cranking to start her from hot, and shes really rich, thats a telltale mate.

Of course a cold engine will start and run fine every time.

I dont know which way the sensors act, possibly try a short and then open circuit in turn to see if it will get you home?
