Default Advice needed

Hi all, I'm currently in France and having an issue with the car. It is driving fine when nice and cold, as soon as I encounter traffic or driving through towns it starts coughing and spluttering on the throttle, I literally have about 1 cm of travel on the accelerator before it coughs and looses all power.
I am thinking it is the map sensor, which does not help as I am running a 4 bar hondata, I have removed checked and cleaned as well as removing the throttle body and checking and cleaning that.
What else should I be considering?

Is it hot? Getting some heat soak? When its cold its running rich and is fine, could it be running weak when warm?

Temp sensors ok?

Not sure on temperatures, the oil temps are fine, not sure about air intake!

I have also just found this in the FAQ's does anyone know the origin of the post or location of said wire?

Some MY04 and MY05 cars that have a problem with engine stuttering can get the MAP sensor replaced free of charge. Please contact your dealer for details

Another problem with similar symptoms is this...

A 'flat' spot when starting it after it had been standing for 15-45 minutes after it had been warmed up. It refused to respond to the accelerator, kangarooed, jerked and lost ALL power. The solution to this was...

A corroded wire near the scuttle on the passenger side, which was replaced.

It was mapped a week ago so that side of things should be fine, or else I will be looking to get my money back as this issue is ruining my holiday as well as our friends who are with us!

Mapped a week ago? Must be a likely cause somewhere. Can you go back to stock?

Not an option 500 miles from home, the car was running fine for 200 miles over here, then suddenly started acting up, like a switch had been flipped. I am thinking a sensor went or something simple like that. Just trying to get as much advice as possible before tackling it in the morning.

On the tuning side I came away without Romain's number, if anyone can pm it to me that would be great.

Have you not set your serial gauge to tell you water temp, ait and boost via the map sensor as that would give you a clue what the ecu is seeing? Do you have a wideband?

Have you not got a laptop with you to be able to plug into the ecu?
