Default Advice on hardtop shipping

Had no interest (through eBay) in my new formula red hardtop from anyone in the UK, but a couple of guys from Belgium & Germany emailed to see if I'd ship it to them...

A standard pallet seems to be 1.2m wide, which obviously isn't wide enough for the hardtop (at ~1.4m wide) let alone safe packaging. Has anyone any experience of 'posting' a hardtop before?

Belgium isn't that far away, probably cheaper for them to collect

Work it in with a trip to Spa or the 'Ring.

And you get free petrol

I might suggest collection.

It's a shame everyone I know has either crashed or sold their S's, cos a group 'Ring trip would have been fun. I elected not to replace mine - I've defected to the BMW camp....and I doubt it would fit the M3
