Default Adjustment bolts

Hi guys I'm looking at getting powerflex bushes for my car as I have some seized bolts. I called my Honda dealer today to price new bolts and was told near £300 which I thought was a bit steep. Does anybodyk ow the exact bolts I will need to replace assuming I need to cut them all out as we will be doing this over a weekend I don't want to be left missing something. Also if someone has recently done this how much did the bolts cost you and where is best to get them I assume they are a Honda only part as are most things.

Thanks

paddy

Honda only for new ones, or get secondhand ones of a decent breaker like GarageR (PM him, he's a member).

You won't know which ones will need replacing 'til you find out which ones are seized. The best thing I can suggest is to try and undo each bolt yourself (marking the original position first) or if you're not that great at DIY, take it to a garage and ask them which ones are seized.

Common seizures include the front/rear camber adjusters and the castor adjusters.

Powerflex do not supply new compliance bushes, you will need to get Spoon/Mugen ones which can take a while to get delivered. I got my Mugen ones from here:

http://www.tdi-plc.com/catalog/product_inf...0003e61a81be94c

They were cheaper back then Ignore the photo too, it doesn't actually show you what you get

If you need any info regarding swapping the bushes out, search for threads by me and/or AquilaEagle for a good write up

£145 for the compliance bushes didn't think they would be that much.

Myself and loftust recently tested for turnAge on all of mine in prep for bushings this weekend. Found it quite useful to take a couple of printouts of the exploded diagrams on the Honda parts website (address in FAQ I think). That way yourself or mechanic can easily identify the parts needed and order accordingly. Get under there and have a look oh and a plusgas whilst you're there!

It's worth checking to see if the sleeves are seized in the compliance bush too. My bolts came out fine but the sleeve was seized to the bush, eventually got them out after burning the rubber away and heating the inner bush sleeve until red hot and gripping it with mole grips whilst turning the sleeve with a ratchet. Allow a considerable amount of time if this is the case as it took us about 6 hours just to do these.

It all sounds like fun but it needs to be done. My alignment is out too much just to leave and live with it. Think ill get the diagram and get under the car and see what i need bolt wise. Is there any other compliance bushes other that the mugen ones at £145.
I never keep cars long so im reluctant to spend too much but at the same time i like things done right where they can be

Ahhh yes...someone else made the mistake of ordering those recently. Good effort for double checking

The aforementioned 'someone else' shall remain unnamed...

...until now, coolchrisuk...sorry mate
